Vacancy for Charity Administrator

Gilberdyke Parish Council has a vacancy for a permanent, part-time Charity Administrator.

The Council is the sole trustee of Gilberdyke and District War Memorial Hall and Playing Field Charity. The Charity is run independently from the Council’s role as the local authority. All staff are employed by Gilberdyke Parish Council and you will be seconded to the Charity.

This is an interesting and flexible role with a varying workload, and provides an opportunity to help manage and develop a valuable community asset.

This post is offered initially as a 20 hours per week contract, with flexibility as to the fulfilment of those hours. Some evening work will be required as part of the role. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to increase their contracted hours as their experience develops. Candidates with experience in marketing, events planning and management, and submitting funding applications may be offered increased hours upon commencement.

You will mainly work from home but you will be required to attend the Hall on a regular basis. You will be paid an allowance for working from home.
